..I did something similar long time ago, so it should be probably number 2, but who cares. Its also my farewell photo on 500px, cause that site apparently chosen to go to hell with 50% or more JPG compression. While Tumblr has, you guess it - none at all. Thats why I love Tumblr.

My little angel of death and some words about satanism
First a little background about this picture. Its a small pendant from Alchemy, which is company making this kind of stuff from English pewter and obviously its located in UK.
When I was younger (means decade ago), I was into gothic/metal/satanic stuff. That doesnt mean I changed much. I still like metal, Im “inner goth” and satanist, well that thing changed. If you think I turned into Christian and this is some kind of “and then I had epiphany and saw Jesus Christ bla bla” post, then you think really wrong. So, whats the reason behind this photo and consequently this post?

Sort of reason was post above. Which made me chuckle a bit. You know, blissful those who dont know etc. But then, most people really dont know. So lets explain a bit?
These 11 “laws” are taken from Satanic Bible, written (or rather compiled) by Anton Szandor LaVey. Which isnt his true name, thats Howard Stanton Levey. According to what you can read he was pretty ordinary sociopathic guy and a liar. Big one.
Book itself was “made-to-order” for one publishing company. So simply for profit, which is why it pretty much doesnt include any original thoughts. And reason why author likes to repeat stuff (its like Satanic Bible for dummies) - so it had more pages. If someone is familiar with Nietzsche work, its all there, or at least parts of it. Another parts were taken from John Dee, Crowley (not that one from Supernatural, but Aleister) etc. Simply compilation of “wisdom”.
While book itself or ideas in it are not all bad, they are not great either. Its rather primitive and stupid. Main flaws are two. It was made for profit and nothing else. And second, its just belief created as opposite to something. Frankly I find Christianity about as stupid as Satanism. Not because Im atheist (cause Im not), but cause religions are pretty much stupid thing in general and cause both of them are wrong (and even for them works Dunning-Kruger effect). And cause Satanism is just simple “against Christians”.
Doing something just cause its opposite of something, is about as stupid as doing something you are told to, without thinking about it.
People in general need to believe in something. Today they mostly believe in money and power. And science. Its everyones choice what you want to believe in. If you think science isnt belief, then think again. Even believing that “there is nothing else than us” = being atheist is still believing in something (cause you cant prove it, which is main part of believing in something).
So in what we can believe? Lets go back to those Christians for moment. Or to Jews, from which holy torah is this.

This thing is way older then Bible as its part of Jewish torah. And neither they are original writers. They just re-written something else. I wont go into details, cause its starting to be really long.
Lets just think about it “God created mankind in his own image”. It means that we are looking like God. But that transcript isnt right, cause its not whole truth. Whole truth is that we are sorta like direct copy. Limited only by our physical bodies and minds. Im betting its more about those minds.
Obvious conclusion is, that whole freaking mankind is made of demigods. If not “gods”. So, are we?
Well, we can create, destroy, love, hate, forgive. So in smaller scale, we can do everything as our creator. We cant do that in bigger scale probably cause we lack energy and more important is that we dont believe in ourselves enough. We limit ourselves by our way of thinking. Human potential is probably unlimited, only problem is that we created those limits for us. And now they are bit hard to remove, cause everything self-inflicted is worst thing to remove.

“Yea it does and what sucks more is you in your role of god. You and whole mankind are gods, but you act like irresponsible children. Instead of using all your powers to keep this planet which was made just for you fu*kers, you are just plundering it and destroying. Instead of trying to understand things, you just keep repeating same mistakes, doing stupid meaningless stuff all over again, not improving even little bit. Simply put, you may be gods, but you really suck in that.”
As it was said in Spiderman, with great power comes great responsibility. So use your powers wisely. You have a lot of them and only thing you need is to believe in yourself and actually try and do something positive with it.
Thats in what I believe. In myself. In humans. You could call it neo-humanism. There is no need for religions. Everything is here on Earth. Demons, angels, hell and heaven. Its just up to you what you make with your life. Heaven or hell? Your choice only.*
*Well, not entirely up to you and your “today you”. Unfortunately ages of sucking in being gods have price and everything is way complex matter than what I just wrote. This text is just tiny piece of puzzle and nothing more. You need to find your own way anyway. Thats what Jesus never understood.. (well with his ego, he couldnt.. you know Dunning-Kruger :).
The simple thing..
..usually only does look simple. But I wont pretend this is a hard one, simply had nice evening sky, picked up camera, turned lens all the way to infinity, stopped down to f4 and took this picture. Then processed in PC with this JPG as output. Simple, really, you can do this too. Anyone can.
There is moon, sky and small star.. yea and Venus probably on left side up.
